PLANES MISTAKEN FOR STARS To Begin Recording New Album This Week

Denver-based "screamo" outfit PLANES MISTAKEN FOR STARS will be making their way to Seattle this week to begin work on their as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2004's "Up In Them Guts" with producer Matt Bayles (MASTODON, ISIS),tentatively due in September via Abacus Recordings. The band, who have lined up a few tour dates to and from Denver to Seattle, are also working on dates for a European tour in July and August.

PLANES MISTAKEN FOR STARS were previously signed to No Idea Records, who will release a vinyl version of the upcoming CD.
